Fresh from the heels of a successful Lilith Fair Tour, the Chicks joined a long list of illustrious artists on the Sessions at 54th Street PBS show. The Sessions format lends itself to a slower pace and this disc is filled with interview clips and lots of talking between songs. Sheryl Crow joins the Chicks on "You Were Mine", something they'd repeat for Sheryl's Live in Central Park concert. In addition, shortly after this, Sheryl's song "Strong Enough" became a mainstay of Chicks concerts on the Fly tour.

Purportedly. there were four songs cut from the original Sessions performance and the tracklisting was somewhat different (1. Ready To Run 2. If I Fall You're Going Down With Me 3. A version of Sessions was packed as a promo and sent to radio stations for broadcast.
